Happy news!
My latest film "Le Cineaste - a director's journey" has won this month more awards in international festivals. The full list is available in the official website: www.lecineaste.com
Among the all the awards, I was awarded for Best Director at the Vegas Movie Awards and got a Special Mention for Best director at the Five Continents International Film Festival in Venezuela. The film won also Best Picture in both festivals.
I am particular proud of these awards as they come from two completely different places on Earth: Las Vegas, USA and Anzoategui, Venezuela.
This is the clear example of how cinema knows no boundaries nor social or economic differences nor race, gender, history and ethnical backgrounds. It's just art.
The only advantage the SarsCov-2 virus pandemic has brought is that due to the lockdown restrictions many festivals around the world has opted for an online only edition. This allows anyone on the globe to enjoy watching many films that usually have no screen space in normal cinemas. So keep visiting the website of those festivals and watch the awarded films.
Keep checking my website or the film website for the latest updates on awards and screenings.
I also would like to thank all my crew and cast for collecting so many international awards and recognitions.
Vive le cinéma!
